ContentKeeper CTO Mark Riley Awarded the ACT Chief Minister's Pearcy Entrepreneur Award
CANBERRA, AUSTRALIA – October 17, 2017 – We are thrilled to announce that our CTO, Mark Riley was recently awarded the ACT Chief Minister's Pearcy Entrepreneur Award. Chief Minister Andrew Barr presented the award at the 24th Annual Australian Computer Society's 2017 Canberra Conference.
From its inception, the Pearcy Foundation was designed to draw attention to and reward Australian contributions to the Information Technology Industry and associated fields of study. Mark's award was a recognition of his achievements over a 37-year career in Technology.
The State Entrepreneur Awards recognise an individual who has made an outstanding contribution to the Australian ICT Industry in their state.
The Pearcy State Awards are aimed at encouraging and rewarding fresh and innovative talent in the ICT and digital media professions. It is awarded to an individual mid-career who has demonstrated innovative and pioneering achievement and contribution in their chosen industry. . . . The individual should be one who will act as a role model for others to acknowledge and hopefully emulate.
Mark, who was travelling in the USA at the time meeting with ContentKeeper clients, accepted the award in absentia, providing his acceptance address via video. He thanked his business partners, David and Peter Wigley and also expressed gratitude to his wife Belinda for her continued love and support.
